I know that there has been many post on rebuilding headlight motors and I had posted an article myslef that has been referenced here on the discussion board. I have a couple of headlight motors I am rebuilding and I was looking for grease to use on these. I found this AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease and wanted to get feedback. The white lithium grease I used last time did not hold up as well as I expected. It was not synthetic. This looks like it should hold up expecialy with water. The headlight motors do get wet in the rain. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks Dale

Extreme operating conditions extreme pressure, inadequate lubrication and excessive dust and dirt are all common issues in off-road equipment. AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Grease is engineered with excellent water resistance properties and rust preventatives to protect against water washout during cleaning or heavy rains. AMSOIL Grease stays in place to last longer in service and forms a barrier seal to greatly reduce the ability of water and dirt to enter pivot joints. |
