When assembling the main instruments AKA the Tach,Speedometer and wiring harness. Does the main harness go in first then the T&S or is the T&S mounted first and then the harness lays over the top of them ????? The AIM shows the positions but not the assembly order.

the speedo and tach should be mounted in the lower dash first.

The main harness sits back by the firewall and is held up by a a couple wire looms that are riveted to the firewall.
You can carefully connect all the wires to the parts once the dash assembly is positioned for installation.

best to do this with the steering column removed. will make things WAY easier.
