1996 LT1 Battery Identifier

Looking for owners of a 1996 LT1 and who have their build sheets.

Trying to nail down the battery classification for the LT1 in 1996. If you look in Block 47 (Battery) on the build sheet there will be a three number designation.

In 1995, the LT1 designation was 655. I also have two different additional battery designations for the 1995-Pace Car-671 and ZR1-674.

If you would, please let me know what is that three number designation. Again, only for the 1996 LT1, I have the LT4 designation-671.

Pat, my '96 LT-1 build sheet has "671" in Block 47.

Paul, thanks for the response. When you get a chance, can you give me your build date.

I am trying to build the data base for the batteries and I don't want to get caught short in not considering a build date change.

PLEASE, anyone else with a 1996 LT1, let me know what your battery designation is so we can make the appropriate suggestions for the NCRS 94-96 Judging Manual.

I am attaching a photo of a 1996 Grand Sport Battery and you can see the 671 designation on the battery also.

Any contributions will be greatly accepted.

Bump. Guys please help Pat, he's doing great work to increase the accuracy of the JG, which will benefit us all.
