    hood grille 1963

    my nane is john i read in one of my books that one of the studs on the hood grilles hits somthing under the hood and must be modified i can not remember what stud or what it hits can anyone help

      left pie pan where the stud comes close or touchers the upper radiator outlet. mike

          John,

          Roll a small clay ball and put it on the end of the mounting stud and close the hood. Reopen hood and inspect for compressed clay ball. If you have a clearance problem, you will know it and can trim accordingly.
