    Seeking Recommendation to rebuild original Brake Calipers

    Hi, this might seem to be a simple question, but can someone recommend a firm that rebuilds mid year brake calipers that will track you specific parts thru their process. I have my originals, and want to get them redone but not lost. thanks, Bill

      Vette Brakes has done this for me.

              I had Lonestar Caliper do this for me gave them my originals and got them shipped back, they also did my master cylinder.

                  Lonestar did a set for me. I had to chuckle, because they included a line item for "babysitting" the calipers. I didn't mind that at all, because they are repaired but unrestored.

                              Apple Hydraulics, Calverton, NY, has been doing all my caliper and master cylinder work for the past several years. Highly recommended.

                                  Been a few years but vette brake did mine on the 71 and I got my original ones back.

                                      Call Ken McCormick at Lonestar Caliper Co. 903-829-8400. Ken gave me a tour of their operation,
                                      very impressive. You won't be disappointed.
