    68 Headlamp Actuator

How many springs are on each headlamp actuator for a 68? Mine has only three springs on each side (item 25 in AIM 12,A2) and it looks like there is a fourth grove (on item 12 in the AIM 12,A2) for a another spring, on each actuator. The AIM 12,A2 shows only one spring 3926434 so I got two more (one for each side) but don't want to put them on if they don't belong there. Service Manual does not say how many either. It does work fine with the three springs now. A picture would be nice.
    Thanks

I found a picture in a past thread and it has four springs. Next question-- were they all the same? Only one is referenced in the AIM?

You should have 4 springs for each head actuator assembly. There are two different springs. They are items 17 and 25 in the BOM. Most of item 17 is cut off for illustration purposes in the AIM.

I see 17 now. I'll put them on.
        Thanks John
