    1967 wiper arm adjustment screw

I have an original set of wiper arms on my car, but one of the arms is missing that adjustment screw. Does anyone know where I can find one and once one is found, is there a simple way to install it.

In addition, has anyone come up with a fix that looks original?

The arms are in pretty good shape.

    Thanks,

    Jerry

    Jerry -

It looks like a fairly conventional pan head stainless machine screw; unhook the tension spring, install the screw through the threaded adjuster peg, and re-connect the spring.

John,Those screws on the arms looks like it may have been peened over the side opposite the screw head.

The screw is ~0.65+" long installed. It has a short reduced diameter unthread section directly under the screw head that is the length of the main body wall thickness, ~0.03", so the screw floats. This is followed by the threaded section that is the length of the main body width, ~0.55", followed by a reduced diameter unthreaded section that goes thru the other side of the main body & then is peened over. Pete,

Do you have one of these as mine is missing?

          Thanks,

          Jerry

            John,
I'm also missing the adjuster peg. Are they available?

              Jerry -

I think you want Pete, not me - I don't have wiper parts.
