Just finishing the restoration on my 72 LT1 and I need a recommendation on the type of fender well undercoating. I had scraped all of the old material off and it is now bare fiberglass. I am concerned with damage to the paint caused by stones hitting the underside of the fenders. Thanks, Jim

Re: C3 fender well undercoating
Jim, one option is 3M Schutz, it is nearly close to factory undercoating. It does require a special sprayer hooked up to a compressor - the gun can be found for $60 or so. http://3mcollision.com/3m-no-cleanup...ing-08964.html- Top

Re: C3 fender well undercoating
Jim,
I don't remember what thread it was, but we had already discussed this in a prior thread. I personally provided details as where it was applied and who the manufacture of the undercoating was to St. Louis. You may want to go back and look it up as it was extremely informative, not just by me, but by my judging colleages as well.
