Does any know the correct relay numbers to use for the hazard and turn signals on a 69 L71? I found the GM part numbers in the AIM but need the Tungsol or Signal Stat numbers.

Thanks Ed, but these threads unfortunately don't help me with my year or with both the hazard and signal. It appears the 224 is the correct for the signals since it operates 2 bulbs but not the hazard flashers so I am still on the hunt.- Top

Jeff, The info you are looking for is on page 23 of the new 68/69 judging manual and should be in your 69 owners manual. The 68 / 69 TJM is the best $50+ dollars you can spend on your year Corvette.Terry Buchanan

Re: Hazard Flasher and Turn Signal flasher Relays for 1969 L71
Here are 4 flasher that are in my collection: From left to right:
1. Painted light blue metal Tung-Sol 224 flasher with black printing dated "429" (42nd week of 1969) from "early" 1970 Chevelle (Dec. 1969); stamped "S.A.E.", J590b", "ts", "224 FLASHER", "2 LAMP - 12 VOLTS", "PAT. NO. 689273", "MADE IN CANADA"
2. Embossed "gold" coated Tung-Sol 552 flasher dated "081" (assumed to be 8th week of 1971)
3. Embossed "gold" coated Tung-Sol 552 flasher dated "369" (assumed to be 36th week of 1969)
4. Embossed Signal-Stat 144 flasher dated "T4463" (44th week of 1963) from 1964 Chevelle
Years ago I had some light blue plastic Tung-Sol 224 flashers (without "DOT") that were correct for 1966 Corvettes.
