    63 Convertible top repair

The very old (maybe original) convertible top for one of my 63s is in great shape but needs a small repair to the underside. Can anyone recommend a shop in Michigan or northern Ohio that does convertible top repairs?

    Thanks
    Mike

Mike, whats up with top ? Rip? most of the time repairs on the vinyl tops are short lived. a few times up and down and its generally back to square one.About the only thing I can think of is a needle and clear nylon thread.

Ed, one of the straps pulled loose at the rear. I'm sure it can be fixed, but I'm not going to attempt it, I need someone who knows what they're doing.

        Mike,

You could try Shelby Auto Trim. They are located on Mound Rd between 17 & 18. They installed a new top on 1966 Roadster about 10 years ago and they do repairs as well.

Good suggestion - Ann Ditri runs the place, and they do all manner of custom work and repairs; they made tops for my Cobra replicas from scratch, without any patterns. (586) 939-9090.
