Anybody familiar with this claimed L88 for sale?

Has anybody any familiarity or experience with this seller and this claimed L88 car? I have made several attempts in past days to reach the seller with no success. Thoughts from the masses appreciated. Greg

I have no personal knowledge but the seller appears to have some red flags in his e-bay feedback. Obviously the car has a tri-power air cleaner and alot of bling under the hood. Buyer Beware IMO.

Trust me, not getting responses to my inquiries for contact and only listing contact phone for the bank who did not know who this was really concerned me. The seller was upfront in the advertisement that many things are not L88 correct and some are but his website has non-functioning phone number so I gotta wonder?

Unless his camera is set wrong the photos are almost 3 years old...

I see it's got the optional high-lift off road suspension.

The engine stamping is completely bogus. The VIN stamping is the wrong configuration with wrong size characters.

I find it AN ABSOLUTE MARVEL that there is anyone who can read this ad and characterize it as "upfront in the advertisement" unless acting as a shill for the seller. For anyone to waste even one breath speculating that this might be a "real" car, I know 1000 casinos that if your financial statement makes it worth their while and you agree to gamble for three days, they will send an airplane and/or a limo to pick you up and transport you to their facility. Maybe it could be turned into a lottery, one where you guess how many major parts of Corvettes have been combined to build "The Thing".

You can't put anything on the Internet that isn't true. I'm gonna buy it.

Mark, don't worry, I'm sure my car will be just as genuine as this L88...you should use your proceeds from the millions smuggled out for you by the Somalian prince's godson-twice-removed...all you'll have to do is wire him $10,000 (to show good faith), before he sends you your due...

In the late 70's to early 80's there was a guy making L88's at the rate of three or more a year from readily available parts from GM.

I used this same set up in the early to late 70s for my late model stock car. I bought all of the parts over the GM counter. I would take a 454, bore it out .125, install high compression gm pistons, after market roller cams and rockers, 850 Holley, headers, etc. and go racing. I had two of these engines. Back then you could buy any part that you needed for a reasonable price.

The trim tag rivets look funny as does the position of the tag. Unless it's just a really really bad picture on top of being fake...

Thank you to those of you who were gracious enough to provide respectful and genuine feedback to my sincere inquiry regarding this Car. I figure everything that may have a remotest of possibilities of being something of value is worth at least a moment's breath to review and understand what it is....has worked out very favorably for me in past.
