I need the part number for the screw that holds the rocker trim panel in place along the bottom edge. The trim panel part number is listed as 10077416 (LH) or 10288347, depending on which catalog I use. The panel on my car happens to be a 10077416. I'm missing a couple of the screws that secure this panel to the bottom of the car and none on my diagrams or catalogs show the part number for this screw. I have not been able to match this screw to any other on the car.

Re: Part Number for '96 Rocker Panel Screw
Aren't these Torx? About 1" OL? I'm not sure why that seems to stick in my head. I've removed them a couple of time replacing the battery on my sweetie's 96.

Re: Part Number for '96 Rocker Panel Screw
I don't think it will be too difficult to find a couple of these screws. I would like to figure out the part number mystery for my records.
Thanx
BTW, It appears I won't be able to get my LT4 ready for Kissimmee [again]. My employer is sending me back to PA for at least 12 months.'69 Blue/Blue L36 Vert w/ 4-Spd

Re: Part Number for '96 Rocker Panel Screw
No, the torx screws are used at the front edge of the panel only. They secure the wheel well - first picture. The screws that secure the panel to the bottom of the car are small flanged body bolts with indented head and captured washer. They are about 3/4" in length and have the 2S symbol embossed on the head - second picture.

So, no one's been able to come up with this, huh? Well, the part number is GM #11515303. Those pictured here even have the same headmark as the originals on my 1992 but I can't guarantee that all will. These remain available from GM.

Re: Part Number for '96 Rocker Panel Screw
I was able to buy the original "S2" NOS GM screws from OE Parts HQ. They come in bags of 10 in original GM packaging.'69 Blue/Blue L36 Vert w/ 4-Spd
