1963 corvette windshield wipers

Just purchased a restored 63 coupe, I was going through the various dash controls to check function (filled the windshield fluid container) then pushed the button on the windshield wiper control knob, no liquid, but the windshield wipers cycled, then I turned the control knob and the 2 speeds did work. tried it again and they did not work, and still haven't? According to the previous owner the windshield wiper motor is new, however, the car was not driven for 3 years after it was restored. Any suggestions before I tear the wiper motor assembly out of car?

Ken, sometimes they need a little help, I to remove hose from washer bottle and fill the hose, You'll need something like a old school ketchep bottle, or something that you can squeze some water into the hose.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that. My main concern are the windshield wipers, they don't work? they came on only 1 time, and now they won't work?

Ken turn the switch to on and try wiggling the connectors and the ground, this will tell if you have a electrical connection issue.

Also fuse?
