    Is this a 1968 part?

This was returned from my mechanic and I don't know if it belongs on my car. 68 BB 4-sp AC coupe

Jack, you may be right. I will check that tonight. I did not think he changed either of them.

      thanks

Not sure about a 1968 but later C3's had the squirter attached to the wiper blade. As blade made swipe across WS, if activated, squirter would apply water from blade area. My '72 operated in this manner.

Some 1968s had the squerters (is that a highly technical term?) attached to the vent grille in front of the windshield. I am thinking there were two styles of those before they went to the wiper arms. Depends on the serial number/build date of the car. I would wager we have basic information like that in the TIM&JG -- someplace in those 300+ pages. Shouldn't be hard to find with the index in front of the book, but you have to have the book -- and I don't at work.

Excuse the frustration, but we write books and no one reads them.

My May 68 build has them in the grille. I will check the ones on the car against this one tonight to see if it matches one of them.

my Feb 68 car has them attached to the wiper grill but they do NOT look like that for 68s as far as I've ever seen...

There are two kinds of friends; the friend you call to bail you out of jail and the friend sitting next to you in the cell saying "Damn, that was great"!!!

I checked mine last night and they are like Anthony's also. So, I gues I am back to the original question. What is this? It appears to have overspray paint matching my body color (green).

The only ones I've seen on and for 68s are like the one's in Anthony's post, these are a 68 only part from my understanding.

Re: Is this a 1968 part?

The washer nozzles on my February-built 68 are mirror images of one another; that is to say right hand and left hand. This appears to agree with their depiction in the AIM (UPC 1, Sheet D7).

Perhaps it is the orientation of Anthony's picture, but mine look only like the one shown on the right, just mirror images of one another.
