Rochester Quadra Jet (off vehicle storage)
I've recently swapped out a service replacement Quadra-Jet on my '74. I'm looking for any suggestions as to the proper storage prep procedures that would allow this carb to be reused in the future without any impact on performance. I've turned the carb over in various positions, which extracted a small amount of gas. It's now just sitting in an opened cardboard box. Anything else? Thanks.

Without a rebuild the chances of the carb. performing correctly again are slim.
