I need help replacing my original 15x8 AZ coded Rally Wheels and F70-15 Goodyear speedways that I want to preserve and only use for show. Will an OEM set of 15x8 Rally Steel Wheels with a 4" backspace fit properly using a size 215/70-15 radial tire? If so, can anyone recommend a good source to purchase them from? Lots of confusion out there! Thank you, Seth

Re: 71 Corvette Wheels and Tires
Seth, used AZs are pretty easy to find. They started in '69 and went through '72. If you want "new" I believe any of the big houses (Ecklers, etc.) sells them.1969 Riverside Gold Coupe, L71, 14,000 miles. Top Flight, 2 Star Bowtie.- Top

Re: 71 Corvette Wheels and Tires
Hi Seth
Flea/swap meets are a great source for wheels. Be carefull with aftermarket wheels, some do not have proper centers around the bolt areas. As these wheels flex over a period of time the lugs will loosen up. Also Monte Carlos used a wheel that looks the same but there is an 1/4" difference in the Offset (back spacing ?) so that the Corvette beauty rings WILL not fit the MC wheels. MC wheels and their proper rings will work.
Good luck !
