I hope you enjoy...its not about the books...there is no profit in self publishing...it's about how many of us ever find the original owners of our cars after years of searching...and love them still.

Re: A Corvette Story
Thanks, Steve.
You read some of the comments posted on the Hagerty site and you realize how much we love "going back" to those times when we were young with our cars that were the center of our universe then. Wonder if the next generation will feel the same. Seems doutful...but they will find inspiration in life other ways from how we did. And so life goes on.- Top

Re: A Corvette Story
Fun to read Bill. Thanks. You mentioned Walt Disney. I sent you an email asking if you had any knowledge of whether Walt or Roy Disney ever owned Corvettes. I have a 57 that the second owner purchased in the summer of 58 in Hollywood from a man in the amusement park business. Thanks!- Top

Re: A Corvette Story
Thanks, Mike.
Walt Disney was 56 years old in 1957...Roy was 27.
In 1961, local newspapers covered Walt and Disneyland pretty extensively...something new being added all the time. I never heard or read that he owned a Vette...and it didn't come up the day we met and talked at Disneyland. Maybe some other members know more. Sorry I couldn't help.- Top
