Are the C 4 floor mats all the same for the 84-96 cars?

Lyndon, I have found at least one difference in that sometime around December 1994 a bezel was placed in the lower left hand portion of the driver's side.
I conducted a survey and had about 20 responses. The cut off date was pretty clear that it was December 1994. I have this survey if you are interested.

I have been told that this was to secure the mat.

Attached are some photos of the pre December and post December 1994 floor mats.

If you want you can email me at fulassoc@comcast.com and I will send along a number of other photos with the part number on the backside of the mat.

Did not find a bezel on the passenger side mat.
