Recently, I had a member of the Yenko.net website contact me about my 63 SWC L84 car. With caution, he contacted me as he thought there were so many similarities to a car he owned from 1969-74. He (Fred) emailed me is contact information and we had quite the pleasurable conversation. While Fred had nothing denoting the VIN, he clearly recalls some of the "birthmarks" of my car including the time frame he spit a rod out of the original 327. Fred then proceeded to purchase a CE LT1 from Berger Chevrolet in early 71 (the dates on the LT1 match this story perfectly). I could go on for quite a bit about the details we spoke of. With certainty, this man owned my car.
I had retained the services of Bill Gould. Bill did a great job (I would highly recommend his help) but ran into a brick wall with a used car lot on the north side of Milwaukee in the early 80's. This new information should help reignite the owner search. Fred was kind enough to scan and share some photos of the car he had. The black and white are from 1969 and the color are from 1970 after he painted the car. Hope you enjoy!
