    1969 Front frame extension/front crossmember

    I will assume once again that these items were attached to the frame prior to painting and therefore all of the fasteners were also painted the same finish as the frame?

      The front cross member and all its attaching brackets were added to the frame during the assembly process at St. Louis. They were all painted individually prior to assembly. They will be semi-gloss black, but it will not be the same paint as used on the frame. Fasteners should have no paint on them.

          John, Thank you for the information.....The bolts will go on natural finish.

              Anything BOLTED to the frame was done at St. Louis. Anything WELDED to the frame was done at the time of frame manufacture in Milwaukee.
