'65 p/s requires the production 5 qt. oil pan.

          Michael,

I think you need a 4 quart oil pan with power steering. (5 qt total capacity with filter)

Hi Mike lets see a photo of the pan you have or intend to use sometimes the fuel and 365hp pan is known as the 5 Quart pan and holds 6 quarts with the cannister filter and the small pan is known as a 4 quart pan and holds 5 with a filter, and if yours is indeed the big pan power steering was not available and will not fit, anyway something to check.

              Yes, 5 qt ( 4 + 1) required for '65 with p/s.

              The 6 qt ( 5 + 1) as used with FI and 365 won't work for '65 with p/s.
