    Water Pump Fittings 1969 427/400

    I'd like to know which two fittings are to be used for the top and side of the water pump. Or do I have the correct ones here or not?

    This is my first time adding a photo, I'll see it I got it right.

    Thanks, Ned

    #1 is generally correct for the bypass fitting;

    #2 is generally correct for the intake manifold heater hose fitting;

    #3 or #4 is generally correct for the waterpump heater hose nipple. I believe that either style could have been used. However, if your L-68 is equipped with C-60, then a shorter nipple was used, similar to #2.

      Joe, Thank you for the information. This gets me a little closer to starting the engine in the chassis, which I expect to do in the very near future.
