Re: 1972 LS-5 Wire from TCS Switch on Intake Manifold to Heat Sensor on Head
Bill,
The guy that I have been trying to help has an automatic. His harness is pretty messed up from what I can figure. He was working on it, then let it sit for a while. I guess he is at it again so i thought I would try to help him out.
Truth is, I guess there was some question about the jumper inside the car.
It turns out to be a very simple set-up once you understand it.
He has informed me he has it figured out. The only thing I do not understand is, he has explained he has tan wires going to both terminals on the TCS solenoid.
Unless this is the case with automatics I still think he has it wrong. This is why I did the drawing. He feels his is different and I cannot argue with that.
Thanks for the input. If you do have a diagram that shows the automatic wiring set-up, that would be great. If not, not a big deal. Like I said, he feels he has it correct the way he has it.
Thanks,
Monte
