does anyone know where I can find the headlight bulb with the Guide in them for a 1989? Years ago when I did the 71 the T 3 bulbs were easy to find! Anyone know of some C 4 salvage yards?

Lydon, try corvettenutz.com and get the phone number. Shawn is a great guy and he only carries and deal with C4 parts. Tell him Ed from Miami sent you.

Re: 1989 headlights
Lyndon, Why pay major bucks buying a bulb that was on a Corvette.
For Example: Long ago I did extensive research on the headlight bulb used on the early C4's. You see I could not find the correct bulb/lamp for my May 83 Corvette.
Turns out that particular bulb was used on millions of cars both here and overseas. Practically all the manufacturer's used it in both foreign and domestic. Same deal as the bulb you need.
How does the judging manual describe your bulb??? How about a pic here of one of your H6054 bulbs.
The 84 to 86 bulb is an H6054 bulb. Three prong, combination hi-lo beam, Guide 2B1 in ther left top corner. Says halogen in the center.
So to repeat what is the data on your bulb. Not to take bucks from my Corvette buddies but just said the above to teach us that bulbs were used off the shelf and not designed for any C4.- Top
