    Considering a 1989 Coupe

Is there any NCRS members near Macomb, Michigan that can checkout this car for me. I'm considering it and I just want to verify that it's legitimate and the car is the real deal. The owner is asking $13,000 and the car is reported to have 14,801 miles.

    Ed,

I will give you a boost to the top and a suggestion:

Contact the Michigan Chapter of NCRS through the contacts button above. I don't know where Macomb is, but they have a very active membership and may be able to put you in touch with someone who can help.

OH and another suggestion: Never buy a car without looking at it yourself. I have always held that rule and the last time I violated it I learned why I have that rule. Fortunately it was only a $2500 purchase, but it should have been half that or less.

85% of the MI Chapter membership is within 30 minutes of Macomb, so go ahead and contact Tom Komendera our Chairman.
We have several C4 aficianados who could at least look at it for you and see if it's worth your time.

Yes, he doesn't visit here much.

Ed, This 1989 really looks very good and taken care of in the pictures you posted. If you have not driven it, once you do I think you will buy it. C4's handle so well and ride really good in my opinion. Mileage is so low, lots of use left in this 1989.
