Doesn't matter, as long as the interior color is different. I've always liked Yellow/Black, Green/Black or Blue/White.

Marlboro Maroon with saddle interior is my favorite combo- that's why it's sitting in my garage. Also like Ontario Orange and Elkhart Green with saddle interiors. Not that crazy about black interiors unless they're on silver/gray cars.

I'm going with Black / Red Interior, then maybe Red / Black Interior.

I've owned 3 of them. Cortez Silver, Laguna Gray and Steel Cities Gray. All with black interior. As far as I'm concerned, there are no other colors.

Jim -- bought this one new off the dealer lot; can't say it would have been the color I'd have ordered, but not unpleasant to the eyes. Check ZP2 color and trim over-ride code on GM shippingng record. (VIN 08196)

I think a lot would admit, if they had their choice, that red exterior with black interior is one that is quite often thought of as the most desirable.

Having said that and owning two of those, my preference is black on black.

I think the "resale red" saying has some truth to it. Which would mean that it is a somewhat desirable color.

I also think age may play into this. As a kid in the late 70's, we bought our muscle cars while in High School in the late 70's. The one thing that mattered back then was a black interior. I watched a lot of really nice cars passed up because of the color interior. Times have changed.

Now, the bottom line is: As long as you like and enjoy your car, that is all that matters.

I think there's a lot of truth to your black interior in the late '70s comment, Monte. I had the same feeling at that time. Times DO change, but not for all of us at all times. I think it can be a matter of "the grass is always greener".

While shopping for my current C3, it had to be a 4 speed w/out AC and it had to have black interior. I ended up with red, but it was not my first exterior color choice. I am happy with Mille Miglia Red. Now, I think I prefer the 1 or 2 year only offerings and some of the combinations I am drawn to are not black interior.

For the "bumper years", here's my (current) favorites:
1968: Silverstone Silver/Dark Blue/White soft top (I've seen a pristine one with red line tires - SPECTACULAR!)
1969: LeMans Blue/Bright Blue/White soft top
1970: Donneybrooke Green/Black/Black soft top (I've always been a fan of the now-unpopular greens)
1971: Nevada Silver/Red/White soft top
1972: Bryar Blue/Blue/White soft top (not a std interior color, however, I've seen several of these)

I once would only look at black interior cars. I now love the RED interiors too. I was so in love with the silver/gray exterior and red interior, I changed my want for a Z06 to a G/sport in 2010, partly because of the color combination I found in the G/sport. Now I have the "resale red"/black interior AND my all time favorite combination.

BTW, we GOTTA love any color that's named after a race course, no?

I'd have to respectfully dissagree Ken. Pewter silver, black interrior and definately chrome bumpers. However your insight on today's cars is impressive!!

No joke here but your Brands Hatch w/ saddle might be my second choice. Have fun!!
