proper location of jack instructions & positraction decals on underside of jack cover

To all of the Vett lovers
I have a 1963 corvette split window that I am preparing for a NCRS top flight judging, I am struggling to understand the correct position of the decals on the jack cover board.

The most recent NCRS "corvette technical information manual & judging guide" section 12. "rear storage area",
.....says location is ... typically on the left side of the cover (which I assume is the drivers side), I understand that, however, I don't understand if "TYPICALLY" means that the decals can not be on the right side (passenger side), typically is not, in my opinion, EXACT.

I am trying to qualify for a Top Flight, so I want to be correct, and not have points deducted for improper location.

Currently, both of the decals on my car are on the right side (passenger side) of the jack board.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Kennyboy

I believe most interior judges would agree that, although labels are generally found on the left side of the jack board, there was no rule regarding their placement. There should be no point deduction in Flight judging for placement on either side.

Kenneyboy, no need to assume that the left side of the car is the driver's side. In the words of the great John Muir..."Front is Front".

I have only seen the decals on the left side. When you see terminolgy in the JG like "Typically" it means that most cars have it the way they describe it. Exceptions may exist, but if there is a good reason for any exceptions it will be explained. If you're going for Top Flight I suggest you follow anything described as "typical", as in TFP (Typical Factory Production).
