Roy Braatz's car is now 'correct'.

Looks like Roy's car no longer has the big block hood. Anyone know the owner/restorer?

I've seen this car a few times at the Western Regionals. Very nice car.

Ad says automatic transmission, shows a 4-speed.

Is it just me or does the engine pad look a little funky?

He's an early number, can't edit. Doesn't impact the car.

It's a 4 speed not sure why it shows Auto. My ad is accurate eBay is...........well it's eBay.

Took full hit on the pad and incorrect carb, those were the biggest hits on mechanical

I guess you didn't buy the story about the car being delivered with the BB hood.

Really? I see nothing wrong with the pad surface or engine code assuming that Dec 10 is an acceptable date for the car.

It's been my experience that judges will take the full deduction on the pad if they suspect a "restoration" engine stamp on any part of it. I have been told that is not right, but I also know many where it has happened.

Then why do we bother judging each feature independently?
