How many vin#'s on frame???

How many vin#'s on the '56-'57 Corvette frame,I have a '56 that has two right next
to each other...I did look at the archives didn't see an answer,so if I have missed it sorry.

Two is normal - it took two cycles of the egg-stamper tool to increment it to the next number.

My 56 has two. And yes, they're stamped pretty deep--------------------and from my viewpoint, that's good! I'd rather they be deep which eliminates any doubt.

Unfortunately all I have is a rolling chassis,no title.
Will be listing it in a future Driveline.
