      Indents are common. Not to worry.

      All kinds of strange markings. Mostly done before chassis blackout and thus painted over. I have no idea about this red stripe.

          That is pretty cool find !!!!
          I would reproduce that once you have the frame done - very neat
          My steering box had never been out of the car - I found several yellow markings on the box - I reproduced those markings when I put the box back in the car
