    Re: Opinions on 4-post Lifts

Bill thanks I am glad the lift worked out for you.
Troy the Q4PO7 is a ALI certified lift you must have a old brochure. The runways on the Quality lifts are 20 in wide , most other lifts are only 18 or 19 in wide .This is important for late model Corvettes with the wide tires like my C6 Grand Sport or ZO6 The rear tires fill up the runways. The outside dimension is 100 in wide and the drive through is 92 1/8 I have a Quality for my own use with for 2 of my Corvettes . With the optional rolling jack or the steel jack tray you can safely raise the car for any purpose .

Will the drive through width safety fit Vettes up to C6? Do you need to fold the mirrors in?

I'm in Southern Utah. I suppose I'm to work with the dealer in Las Vegas. I'd prefer deliver and installation.

        Re: Opinions on 4-post Lifts

Troy the drive through is more than wide enough for the C6 with out folding the mirrors. Troy send me private e-mail about lifts and installers in your area.
Kenny the 7,000 lb lift will handle all vehicles up to 7,000lbs including SUV'S, PU'S etc. However if you want to park a SUV etc under the lift you would have to step up to larger lift , which would give you more height underneath .

Mark: Can you point me towards a list of Quality Lift dealers in my area (Salina, KS 67401)? Thanks.

Looks like Benpak and Rotary are ALI certified

              Re: Opinions on 4-post Lifts

WES ,Rotary is certified and is a good lift , but is is a little pricey. Not all BendPac lifts are certified only certain models. I have not had great luck with BendPac lifts, their customer service stinks

                Re: Opinions on 4-post Lifts

If I understand it correctly, all the Quality lifts are certified even though the literature for the 7000 pound lift doesn't say so.

                    Re: Opinions on 4-post Lifts

I can see the point of buying a Rotary two post to make sure it is of the highest quality and stable. But a Rotary 4 post would be a waste of money IMHO given how may other good certified lifts are out there at less expense. Just my opinion.

If you are willing to spend the money a "Back Yard Buddy" is a great 4 post lift. Solid and "Very Safe".

Mark: Hate to hear that about Benpak, I did want to buy one of those high lift four post benpak makes, might have to rethink that. Personally I have two Rotary's a smartlift and a revolution. I know the revolution is expense, but I value living and breathing, don't want to be under the lift if it falls. If its a quality lift it should be tested and pass the test of a standard. Standards came about to protect personnel and make things compatible. I would buy anything that was not certified. You get what you pay for.

Wes both Backyard Buddy and Quality lifts make the extended height lifts. Quality is a ALI certified lift and Backyard Buddy while it is a excellent lift is not certified .

I have a BendPak HD-7W. I love it. Its very heavy duty. Air lock system is great. I have no complaints.
