C2: Steel Wheel Color on a '67

The JG does not give the answer and I'm sure this has been covered before, but are '67 steel wheels supposed be argent silver outside and inside or are they supposed to be argent silver on the outside and and black on the reverse.... Thanks......

Argent silver on the outside. Black on the inside except that some argent silver passed through the slots in the wheels and will be found on the inside of the wheels

they were dipped primed in black, then sprayed with the the silver on the front. so runs and drips should be there with silver over spray though the slots
