    67' 427 390hp fuel pump

Can the fuel pump be rebuilt? If so who in the industry does it? Or is it best to replace with new one?

    Dave----

The 1967 L-36 uses an AC "Unitac" type pump. These pumps were never designed to be rebuilt. However, there is at least one "specialty" type rebuilder out there that does rebuild these pumps. That rebuilder is Goat Hill Classics of Long Beach, CA. There may be a few others.

In my opinion, for a driven car, the best plan is to replace the pump with a NEW unit. Fuel pumps are a safety-related item.

      Thx Joe,
I thought I read somewhere they were difficult to have rebuilt. I think I will replace with new one.

I bought an AC/Delco from Paragon for my 68 427/390. Works like a charm.
