I have a 1965 L79 with AC & PS, The car was a basket case when I got it, I have the 533 2 groove pulley and the 232 single groove pulley for the crankshaft balancer but when I put them together there is a 3/8 space between the backsides of the 2 pulleys is this correct? When I tighten the balancer bolt it is going to twist the bottom of the front pulley.

Re: 1965 Corvette L79 Pulleys
Hi Joseph - Use a 3827843 add on pulley to the '533 pulley. The W/P is 3850979 (3848904 possible) and the P/S pulley is 3868892 single groove steel.Attached Files- Top

Mark------
He might have a very tough time finding the 3827843 and the 3868892. The 3827843 was discontinued without supercession in 1975; the 3868892 was discontinued without supercession in 1976. I don't know that either are reproduced but the "Pulley King" might do them.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
