    That's fine, but, I forgot to mention that UV light will probably cause my engine paint to emit a bit of chlorine gas...

      Of course, my reference to use of unapproved special lighting and paint quite obviously referred to its liberal use only on my black 63, not any other vehicles I may or may not come in contact with.

      The other 63, the one to which you are obviously referring, Mikey, is of course as pristine as possible, or will be, as soon as I get the hang of my latest on-line purchase:

        Yep...My old Ford powered Ski Nautique is that was. I didn't realize it until tried put an automotive starter on it. Needless to say it didn't work. Had the original rebuilt and all was well.

              No one mention putting the distributor back in 180 degrees off. I tried that in my early days.

                Putting the distributor in 180 out is a good way to blow a hole in a piston. Early Chris Crafts put V-8's in backwards so the prop shaft ran off the front of the motor, many times Bubba tuned these up and wired it like a car with very bad results.
