    '65 Rear Tire Alignment

I sent the trailing arms off my '65 to Bair's for a rebuild. At the same time I refreshened all of the rear suspension including new ujoints, new brake lines, taking the spring apart and rebuilding it, etc. I have everything back together and the car drives fine, better than before (one of the trailing arm bearing was real bad). The tire/wheels on the rear are now too far 'in' at the top (and too far out at the bottom). I know there is an adjustment cam on the rear strut. Is there a correct proceedure to better align these rear wheels? I guess a commercial shop might be needed?
    Tks,
    Mike

Mike, do a search on "Lars Grimsrud, Colorado Corvette Crazies (CCC), Lafayette, CO"
He made a nice DIY procedure. No need to bring to shop.

      Mike -

The rear camber adjustment is pretty simple (cam bolt on the inboard end of the strut rods). However, the rear toe-in adjustment setting is NOT that simple, and should be done with the car on an alignment rack so the thrust centerline can be determined first.

Agree with John, the toe needs to be set on a four wheel alignment rack. The centerline of the car needs to be determined and the toe set off that point
