Re: What do you think ? Real ?
It's real, but it's so typical. These guys price these cars in the stratosphere, looking for that one buyer who has tons of money and doesn't care. Well, good luck to them. The collector car market is unusually down for this time of year. They'll sell the car quickly when they come back to earth.- Top

Re: What do you think ? Real ?
original vin tag and original motor. distributor(5D2) and heads(C165, C105) are dated well after car was assembled. missing the majority of exterior chrome, no exhaust extensions, and almost all big money items in the engine compartment are missing. a 54 hood is on car. a 55 more realisticly priced just sold earlier this week for 29,900 in new york. that one was a driver quality car with a later motor and 4 spd with some of the gauges being aftermarket. that car had been sale for about 6 months, but it wasn't till the car hit the internet that it sold within a day.- Top

Re: What do you think ? Real ?
I think it's real but let me say this:
anyone that would pay 67K for a car like this rather than, say, going out and buying a new C7 and having about 10K "left over" has my undying admiration as a quintessential restorer extraordinaire. I would suggest that they need to have a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation but, nevertheless, they would have my undying admiration. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
