63-65 Correct Tan Top With Tan Inside

For those considering a new tan top for a 63-65.

I spoke with someone at Al Knock interiors recently and asked if it would be possible to purchase a tan top with correct tan underside and tan pads instead of black. He immediately said "yes, no problem". He didn't sound like it was difficult at all and, in fact said that there was no price difference.

Nice to know that restoration/reproduction vendors constantly strive to make their products more and more accurate.

I really like the look of the tan (beige, actually) on the inside.

Alan Drake sent an email a while back, said he found the correct tan pads for 63-65 in the parts book. I think it was group 13.349? I shows black pads for white and black tops but beige pads for beige tops. More proof that all 63-65 tan tops were tan on the underside.

Pretty sure a tan top for 66 had black on the inside. The tan top for 66 was a different part number than 63-65 and was a tad darker tan on the outside.
