    Judging Sheet Question

Where do I get the complete actual official judging sheets that are to be used to judge my car? Those that are available for printing on this site are marked "sample result - not official".

    Thanks, Mark

From your chapter or the meet judging chairman.

      Re: Judging Sheet Question

The ones on this site marked "sample" are the same sheets used on the judging field. These are for you to use in preparation. The ones that count will be supplied by the host chapter when the car is judged.

        Re: Judging Sheet Question

So the issue is, I have just been asked to fill in for our judging chairman since he unfortunatley passed away recently. We have a judging meet coming up and need sheets to judge a 63 and a 66 in about 2 weeks. Would I need to defer to the Chairman to have him get/order the sheets or can they just be printed? It looks like it may be an access issue and I don't have it since I'm only the membership chairman.

Contact Roy Sinor and tell him what you need. He usually mails them in a day or two. Two weeks should be sufficient, but give him the date needed. I placed my order this morning for April 20 meet. Do this today as he will be leaving for Bowling Green Regional this week.

Again, I have been put in charge of this event. I need to access the sheets and we don't have the orignals necessary to do the judging at this time. So how do I get them? Sorry, but I am trying to fill in and don't want to come up short.

            Thanks,
            Mark

Send Roy an email and tell him the years being judged and how many of each. I have always gotten my order within five days.

                  Mark,

Not to sound crass, but doesn't the Chapter have judging sheets on-hand? Would think you could get all the judging materials from the former judging chairman's family?

BTW - where are you located? If you miss Roy, one of the other Chapter judging chairs could certainly send you sheets from our Chapter. Looks like you need TWO sets of 1963-67 judging sheets, as you are going to judge a 1963 and 1966?

                    Re: Judging Sheet Question

We were warned several years ago about keeping old judging sheets as they get updated from time to time. As a judge, I have used outdated sheets at a meet (and even old JGs). I order a new supply before almost every meet.

Mark, if you are new at this, you also need a copy of the Judging Reference Guide. There is more to being judging chair than the judging sheets.

                      Re: Judging Sheet Question

We did get all of the materials from the former judges family, but it appears that we are out of judging sheets for mid years. Some of the other stuff in there is pretty aged, so I would be hesitant to use some of the older judging sheet that are there. Yes, we do need two sets...the sheets for both a 63 and a 66 for the 20th of April when we have a chapter judging meet. I did send a message to Roy but apparently missed him.

Is there a possibility that I could get your chapter to send them to me? I'd be happy to reimburse if necessary. Our chapter is located just north of Salt Lake City, Utah. If you think you can send sheets, feel free to send me a personal message and I can provide my address.

                      Thanks,
                      Mark

                        Mark,

Check with a couple of Chapters more local to you and see if you can get the sets you need. If they can't help then send me your snail mail address and I will get a couple of sets sent out from my Chapter
