68 427 Alternator Shim - alignment ?

    68 427 Alternator Shim - alignment ?

    the alternator to Power Steering belt is not straight when all brackets are tight, it angles towards the front of the car and this creates a loud squeel. Any suggestions on how and where to shim or other alignment recomendations?

      Steve. Can you post a pix? Maybe we can spot something. If it's configured correctly, it shouldn't require a shim. I have mine to reference if need be.
