    C2 Convertible Top Questions

I'm finishing up my 66 restoration project and I'm at that point where I need some advice on purchasing a convertible top. I know there is a fair amount of info in the archives about different suppliers of C2 convertible tops and standard cut versus a "Kennedy" cut, but I haven't really seen anybody come out and recommend one top supplier over another or one cut over another. My guess is a lot of the issues with regards to fit has a fair amount to do with the condition of the frame and the experience level of the installer! Having said that, I still need to purchase a top. So, can I get some input on the specifications on the top I should purchase and who I should purchase it from that gives me the greatest chance of success as measured by the least amount of points that will be deducted at judging? Thanks for everyones help!

I don't think you will get the Kennedy cut anywhere but Al Knoch. Its the best from the originality standpoint.

Don't forget to get the right diameter sealing strip for the windshield header. I am not sure if all top normally comes with the correct dia.from Al Knoch. I know when I order my top from him I asked him about the Kennedy cut and sealing strip.

Al Knoch, Kennedy cut, small roll in front, date code for rear window and blue will cost about twice as much if you talking about 1967.
