I hope you all are having a wonderful Easter; I am building a new garage and I want to install a low profile 2 post lift so I can raise C5-7 vettes, among other cars. Not a drive on lift, but one that will allow access to wheel work. What brand and model of lift do you recommend I go with? Thanks,

George,
Recommend you send Mark Tulley an email. Mark is a member of the forum and can be found in the Community. Mark's a great guy and will answer all your questions about lifts.

Re: Looking for advice on purchase of a 2-post garage lift
George,
I second Gary's recommendation to contact Mark Tulley. I have been working with him as I get my garage in shape. You probably know this already, but make sure you have plenty of ceiling height.
Good luck! Please let us know what you wind up with.

Re: Looking for advice on purchase of a 2-post garage lift
Thanks Joe
I have a message in to Mark, he and I are in the LA Chap. My garage plan is 50X60 feet after looking at John Maggori's garage and will be 14' tall.
The help I am looking for now is which 2 post lift, who, what, when, where, cost, how, etc. to install.

Re: Looking for advice on purchase of a 2-post garage lift
George,
While you're waiting for Mark to reply, you might want to go to WWW.QUALITYLIFTS.COM and check outmodel # QFP09. It's a 9,000 LB capacity, two post lift. They are ALI certified. That's the two poster he recommended to me before I found out I don't have the ceiling height to support it. Now of course I'm not trying to imply that it's the same one he would recommend for you.

Re: Looking for advice on purchase of a 2-post garage lift
I purchased a Rotary SPOA-10A Asymmetrical lift for my new garage a couple years ago, and have been extremely pleased. I went through the AZ distributor in Phoenix and they brought it down free from Phoenix to Tucson and installed for $500. Doehrman is the company name, and they work a good discount too...you may have a similar supplier in CA in your area........Craig
