If you're talking about a NEW GM pump, you just missed the boat. The pump, GM #7849157 aka Delco 215-329, was fairly recently discontinued. However, you can obtain a rebuilt pump as manufactured by A-1 Cardone under their number 32-430. About 100 bucks. Cardone also offers a service in which they will rebuild your original pump.

I don't know, for sure, but I would expect they would have the correct numbers IF you're talking about casting numbers. However, it's highly unlikely that dates would be correct for your car, That's why if you have the original pump, having it rebuilt would be your best choice,

Lyndon I purchased a air pump from Auto Zone a few years ago for my 1968. The pump was from Cardone in Philly,PA and was exactly like my original air pump for numbers for my 1968. The filter color on the front of the pump was not matching, but I don't think the original type of filter or color is available anywhere like the the original one that came on my 1968. The 1968 air pump is unlike the later model pumps, I was really surprised to find a rebuilt that was like my original.
