While browsing ebay, I came across a "1960" Corvette. I thought it was a special 1960 since it had 1959 female hood latches. I asked the seller to explain and he said that he had so many cars, it was hard to keep them all straight and it was in fact a 1959. Six or nine people had placed bids on the "1960" car! I did not see the car on ebay on Monday evening.
When is a 1960 not a 1960?

Re: When is a 1960 not a 1960?
Many years ago I went to look at a "58" Corvette. The more I looked the more it appeared to be a '60. When I asked to see the title (no VIN plate), I immediately saw it was not a Corvette VIN. There was a hole cut and patched below the drivers seat and rust on both sides of the frame below the hole - the frame VIN had been ground off. I RAN. Don H.- Top
