1965 Ac Dash Bezel Finish

My 65 has bright blue interior. On the center air cond. bezel (above the clock) is that trim surround piece painted dash color, semi-gloss black, or a charcoal/flat black color/finish? Mine is brown and needs restoring.

The center A/C outlet bezel was molded from black ABS plastic, and wasn't painted.

I think the bezel is always black. It is probably a semi gloss, it looks about like the black on the center deflector.
