69 Rally Wheels

I am needing a set of 4 or preferably 5 late 69 rally wheels. Need to be late date code Sep, Oct, Nov or before Dec 8th of 1969.

Would prefer a set that are restored--but open on that also.

Let me know if you can assist or point me in the right direction.

One thing to beware of: many of these old wheels are going to have lug nut seats that are well-worn, some to the point of requiring non-stock, "bulge" lug nuts to properly fasten the wheel. I don't know of any way to restore the lug nut seats.

John. Just to clarify: the dates on the road wheels are not judged by NCRS or NCCB. Thus your desire for correctly dated wheels are solely to satisfy your own desires. Be happy.

I remember a chassis judge from Georgia saying he thought we should judge all wheel dates because they can be read through the trim ring hole(s). I agree with him...either the numbers match, or they don't. I do agree with Terry when he says, make yourself happy. It is, after all, your car.

I drive this car with another set of Rally's---but have found a set of NOS PO2 covers---so want to get some date correct wheels and repro redline tires for when I show the car.

Anybody have any ideas of who might have some wheels I could call?? Thanks!
