68 TI harness routing thru firewall
I'm in the process of installing the wiring in my 68 and not sure where the TI extension harness goes thru the firewall, the Aim isn't real clear, can someone help me out with this?

Bob. I believe the harness doesn't go through the firewall. The white cloth wire passes through the same gommet as the tach cable to enter the cockpit on the drivers side.Jack Corso

Jack,
I think you are thinking of the wrong wiring harness. Remember the harness connects the TI box which is located at the driver side corner under the front fender. I believe the TI harness goes throught the same hole as the front wiring harness and fiber optics.

I think Bob is looking at the coil end and not the amplifier end of the harness. The wire through the firewall connects to the ignition switch.Jack Corso

Jack is correct; I was referring to the coild end where it passes thru the firewall.
