    Clutch fan

    Hi, i have a clutch fan on a 66 corvette l79, printed on the fan is e 5 d, does anyone know what this stands for?

    You haven't indicated the type of fan clutch on your car, but if it's an Eaton, then a date code of E5D is decoded as: May 5, 1963.
