Has anybody used Bill Hirsch "Super Black Chassis" paint or the Quanta "Q-Coat Chassis Black" paints? If so, which did you prefer? And most importantly will either of them meet the judging standards? I used Rustoleum Stain Black on the last C3 frame I painted and it Top Flighted. Thanks in advance, Eric

Re: Bill Hirsch or Quanta paint for a 54 frame?
All I can say is that everything I have ever used from Bill Hirsch has been excellent. He is also a really nice guy and takes great pride in the way he treats his employees. He opened up his shop on a day it was closed so I could pick up what I needed.
I really like the Bill Hirsch engine paint. It flows well and does not seem to burn off too easily. Used it on my 68 GTO and now my 70 vette.
Funny you mention Rustoleum. I am using it on my 70 frame. Like the way it goes on and looks.

neither.... I use Dupont's Centari black and flatten it 50% to 60% with 45315 Flattener.....
