    Transmission gear ID plz

    I have a new transmission gear in a United-Delco box #3331747 gp 4.415. Gp 4.415 is for third gear for a 4 speed. It has 27 teeth and fits a muncie shaft. That number is not in my 72 Corvette parts book.

    Any help on what it is for sure.

    Wide ratio? Close ratio? Muncie?

      Scott --- the number is 3831744, and yes, it is 3rd gear for a Muncie close or wide ratio 4-speed.

          Wayne, thanks for the help. The number on the box after closer inspection is 3831747. I have a picture of it but posting it seems to defeat me, could email it to you if you would like. Scott
